Check out the places to eat page for some breakfast/lunch/dinner recommendations in the area! Foxfire Mountain House is our favorite place to eat, but we hear it’s booked for a private event this weekend.

Brad and Taylor met at least three times before their first date. The first time they met, Taylor was sitting at the bar at DTUT (RIP) with Chloe (Bridesmaid) and Brad walked in with Tom (Best Man) and several loud, drunk people (Tom's friends). Brad said "hello," and Taylor was not interested. The second time they met, Taylor was sitting at the bar at DTUT (you may notice a trend here) and Brad came in on his own. Brad stole some name tags from a church event taking place at the bar and brought a pair over to Taylor. They gave each other fake names and flirted. Brad told Taylor he was an amateur anesthesiologist with a side gig as a basset hound breeder in his studio apartment. He didn’t ask for Taylor’s number this time, which was probably for the best. The third time they met, Brad came and sat next to Taylor at—you guessed it—the bar at DTUT. They spoke for an hour or so and, as he got ready to leave, Brad said, “I bet if I asked for your number you wouldn’t give it to me.” Taylor said, “Try it.” And he did. Five years, law school and a global pandemic later, on October 9, 2022, Brad, Taylor, and Franklin (their dog) went for their usual walk around the reservoir in Central Park. Taylor noticed that Brad was wearing a jacket that had approximately 100 pockets, but didn’t think anything of it at the time. As they walked, some strange things started happening. First, Brad started reminiscing about old dates and fun times they’ve had in the park. Then, Taylor noticed that he wasn’t taking off the jacket of a million pockets even though it was 70 degrees. Finally, Taylor noticed that Brad’s hands were more clammy than usual. When they got to the top of the reservoir, at the point where you can see across the city, Brad asked Taylor to step off to the side and admire the view. As Taylor was pointing out her office, Brad got down on one knee. Taylor turned around and started hysterically crying. When Brad asked if she would marry him, Taylor stopped crying just enough to say "of course." And they lived happily ever after.
