Taylor and Ally first met in 2017 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina as Teach For America (TFA) Eastern North Carolina corps members. Their unwavering belief that teaching is sacred work and all children deserve an excellent education is what brought them together. What began as a friendship blossomed into a loving relationship. Theirs is a union that spans from the hills of Appalachia and the plains of Kansas, to the cotton and tobacco fields of North Carolina, to the monuments, memorials, and museums of Washington, D.C., to the volcanoes and classrooms of Guatemala City. Now no matter where they go, they will strive to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.
