This dinner will be with our immediate family.
Rehearsal at John & Jodi’s at 4, drinks and dinner at Mike & Trulee’s at 5. :) This evening is designed for our immediate families to meet and enjoy each other's company before the big day!
Casual Night Before Hang for Everyone

We are planning to do a casual hangout the night before the wedding for whoever is interested and in town! There is no pressure. This is not a formal event and we do not have a space reserved for it. We will go to The Running Iron and if that is too busy, we will go across the street to Plaza Linda (both in Carmel Valley Village).

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Wear what makes you feel comfortable! The ceremony likely will be sun exposed, although we are providing fans and some shade. The average high for this time of year is 78F and the average low is 50F. We have a large outdoor fireplace for the evening, but if you typically get cold, bring a jacket or your favorite sweatsuit to dance in! The entire event will be outdoors.
Cocktail hour will be 5p-6p with passed appetizers, followed by dinner, which is a live grill featuring tri-tip, salmon, grilled vegetables, and sides of vegetarian black rice and rosemary garlic potatoes. Please indicate any dietary restrictions you have so we can let the caterers know! Following inspiration from the Doane family, we have decided to lean into Taylor's obsessive love for glitter during the reception. If you want to bring something glittery to wear for the reception (even if it is shoes, a jacket, a hat, etc), you are encouraged/requested to do so! These items, if not worn to the wedding, can be stored inside Jodi's house until they are needed.

This will be held outdoors and it could be a little chilly or it could be warm. Layers probably aren't a bad idea. :)
This will be a casual brunch where you can come and beat your hangover or have a little more social time or both! This will be a continental-style breakfast with croissants, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and juice.
