Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP as soon as possible so that we can coordinate with our vendors. However, the deadline is April 10, 2026.

Question

What If I Can't Make It?

Answer

Your presence will be missed. We kindly request that you RSVP "No" as soon as possible. If you have already RSVP'd "Yes" but find that you will not be able to attend, please notify the Bride at 309.634.6762.

Question

What If I Didn't RSVP in Time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as a "No". We will miss celebrating with you, but we must provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only occasion. We hope you enjoy an elevated date night out to relax, get dressed up, celebrate, and dance the night away with us! Please message the couple if you'd like more information on potential child care in the area if you are traveling.

Question

May I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive to the Ceremony at St. Jude?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to find parking and your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 pm.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive to Cocktail Hour at the Pere Marquette?

Answer

There will be time between the ending of the ceremony at St. Jude and the beginning of cocktail hour at the Pere Marquette. Cocktails and canapes will begin for guests at 5:00 pm, with the dinner and dancing to follow. If you'd like to find a list of things to do before cocktail hour begins, please see our Things To Do section.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We have poured our hearts and souls into this day and request that you dress to the occasion with us! We're requesting the dress code to be cocktail, semi-formal, or formal. Please, no jeans. For women, think cocktail midi dresses, skirt and blouse, nice pantsuit, or maxi dress. For men, suits or dress shirts and ties are an option. Aim for a refined look that's comfortable for celebrating!

Question

Where Should I Park?

Answer

For the ceremony, St. Jude offers two large parking lots attached to the church. For cocktail hour and the reception, there is public parking spread throughout downtown Peoria. Some street parking may be available, but we recommend parking in the deck attached to the Pere Marquette that you enter off Fulton St.

Question

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

First, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We have provided a room block at the Pere Marquette and Courtyard by Marriott (both attached to the reception venue), which you can find under the Accommodations section.

Question

May I Take Photos & Videos During the Ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceremony portion. Our ceremony will be a traditional Catholic Mass and we invite you to put your phone away as we celebrate our union in the house of the Lord. In addition, we have hired an amazing photographer and videographer who will be there to capture the moments, so don't worry.

Question

I have a food allergy, may I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! The Bride is gluten-free and understands your pain. Please note your dietary restrictions and allergies on your RSVP.
