We met while working at Davanni’s in 2013. Jeremy was tossing pizzas and Taylor was slinging hoagies. At the time, Taylor was dating someone else, so Jeremy had to wait his turn. When the timing finally worked out, he swooped in, and the rest… well, the rest is history. (There’s still a heated debate over what counts as our “first official date,” but let’s be real—does it really matter?) Both of us attended the University of Minnesota where we navigated a variety of living situations, sometimes alone, sometimes together, and sometimes with too many roommates to count in places that tested the limits of what counts as “livable.”. After graduating we upgraded to our first grown-up apartment in St. Paul’s West 7th neighborhood. We fell in love with the area and ended up staying longer than planned, adopted our first cat Ginny, and started our weekly trivia nights at Bad Weather Brewery. After several years of building our life together in St. Paul, 2024 turned out to be a milestone year. After almost ten years together, Jeremy finally decided it was time to propose while on a trip in Florida. Taylor, of course, did her best to ruin the surprise but Jeremy pulled it off, and it ended up being a moment we’ll always remember (and laugh) about. Later that year, we bought our first house, still in St. Paul, and settled into our next big adventure together. Recently, we added another cat, Ernie, to our family. And now we’re planning a wedding, looking forward to celebrating with our friends and family, and ready for whatever comes next.
