Directions & Lodging

The Wedding Website of Alyssa Taylor and Ryan Hibbs
Once you reach the dirt roads, GPS will not be reliable. We recommend printing out the directions and following your odometer. There are two different routes you can take listed below. You can also visit https://nahmakanta.com/travel-directions/ for more information, or give us a call or text if you have any questions!

FOR OVERNIGHT GUESTS

OVERNIGHT GUESTS All guests: -*UPDATE* Do NOT travel Kokadjo Route! There is a high possibility it will be closed so the only way to get there is the Jo Mary Route. This costs $13 per person for every day you are on the road (cash or check only). If you come Friday and plan to leave Sunday, make sure they only charge you $26 dollars (as you will not be on the road Saturday). Please see the link for the gate for more info. https://northmainewoods.org/checkpoints-rates-fees/ -Please bring blankets or sleeping bags - there is a fitted sheet on the bed and pillows will be provided -Bring towels and flash lights as well as any snacks; appetizers and dinner will be provided following the ceremony, and a light breakfast will be provided on Sunday morning -We ask that you don’t use the gas stoves in the cabins (as there is a large group arriving the day after the wedding) -Check out for cabins is at 9:00am on Sunday -It can take 4+ hours to travel from the Portland area to Nahmakanta Lake Camps For those staying Friday 9/27: -Please let us know what time we should expect you on Friday 9/27 - there is very limited cell service on the gravel roads - but can call 207-731-8888 if you have any problems -If you plan to come on Friday it is advised that you don’t travel at night on the Jo-Mary road as this can make following directions much more difficult; best to arrive at the Jo-Mary Gate an hour before dark. -Bring food for Friday night and Saturday morning - there are charcoal grills, with plenty of charcoal and refrigerators in the cabins.
