On February 18, 2022, Ashley was out with friends when the plans for the night were starting to fall through. The group decided to head to a birthday party they had heard about. As soon as Ashley walked in, she spotted Henry from across the room, but assumed he was there with another girl. At the same time, Henry noticed Ashley the moment she arrived and thought she was with the guy she came with. As the night went on, Henry finally worked up the courage to walk over to Ashley and her friend and asked if they knew how to do the griddy (typical behavior of Henry)! From that moment on, the two instantly connected and spent the rest of the night talking, laughing, and vibing. What started as a spontaneous night turned into something neither of them expected. On May 15, 2022, Henry officially asked Ashley to be his girlfriend! Over time, Henry convinced Ashley to switch her college major to Education. For the next three years, the two took nearly every class together and supported each other through late nights, exams, and countless memories. They graduated side by side on May 10, 2025. After over three years of dating, Henry proposed on August 2, 2025. Shortly after, they moved into an apartment together and are beginning their next chapter. As of today, Ashley and Henry both work at Twin Rivers Middle School, where they continue building a life full of laughter, love, and teamwork!
