How We Met

One night, we came with mutual friends to go hot tubbing. We didn't think much of it and then left for the summer. When we came back, we became best friends. For two years, we hung out almost daily and were each others' biggest wing men. The following summer, we spent a lot of time together going to concerts and roadtrips. Then, a group decided to go on a weekend trip to St. George and somehow we were the only two that ended up driving down together. At this point, we started to become a little curious about if there could be something between us.

The Proposal

Megan was on a family vacation with her family while Jordan was starting his new job in Utah. The plan was for him to fly to California, take family pictures with the Taylor's, and drive back with Megan to keep her company. On Saturday, the day of the family pictures, we went to the mall, and just hung out all day. When everyone was at home getting ready for pictures, they all started to disappear one by one to meet Jordan and Megan at the Montage in Laguna Beach. On the drive there, Jordan played songs that talked about proposing or a life together. When we got to the parking lot, Megan stayed with her sister-in-law to help find something in the car and Jordan went down to the beach with Megan's brother. When Megan got down to the beach, there was a crowd of people all looking at her and back at something that was around the corner. As she came around the corner, she saw paintings that were titled "Moments I fell in love with you". At the end of the line of paintings, Jordan stood in a heart that was carved out in the sand where he got down on one knee and popped the question. It was an easy YES!
