Taylor and Zach first crossed paths at UNC Charlotte, thanks to a web of mutual friends (and future wedding VIPs). Their first “official” date took place at the always-romantic Boardwalk Billy’s: a seafood-and-burgers college spot perched over what they generously call “a lake” (it’s not). The nerves were high, the setting was...questionable, but something about it just clicked. From there, things moved fast. Like, panic-attack-level fast — at least for Taylor. Zach is a spreadsheet-loving accountant who thrives on order. Taylor is a PR strategist who usually lives in a constant state of chaos. Together, they’re best friends — the kind who spend weekends trying new restaurants around Charlotte or curled up on the couch with their golden retriever, Finnegan. The proposal went down in Hilton Head, SC, during a joint family trip. After a suspiciously timed walk to the pier, Zach got down on one knee.
