Taylor and Zach first met in 2021 at Parts of Paris in Safety Harbor, an eclectic local spot for French-inspired food and great (strong) drinks. Taylor had just graduated from USF and was awaiting the news after interviewing with the school system. After weeks of waiting and becoming discouraged, she decided to apply for the open position at Parts of Paris. Zach, technically her manager at the time, taught her all things behind-the-bar. Though, most of the time, he insisted on making her drink orders for her. Taylor and Zach's newly blossoming love story took a pause when Zach decided to up-and-leave for a road trip across the USA, followed by backpacking through Europe, and Taylor eventually got the job with the school system as a social worker, diving into her new role and working at POP only occasionally (there were some other roadblocks thrown in there as well- if you know you know). Eventually, the following year, Zach returned from his travels with lighter pockets, in need of his job back, when he ran into Taylor working her Saturday guest-star shift. It was finally the perfect timing. After weeks of flirtatious comments, stealing glances, and conveniently doing anything to be near each other (and some negative reviews from the customers about their bartenders' flirting), Taylor and Zach's relationship was solidified that holiday season after a first date at Sips Wine Bar in downtown Safety Harbor. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. The couple was thrown another curveball, in May 2023, when Zach's adventurous spirit led him to help a close friend open a restaurant in Breckenridge, Colorado. Taylor and Zach made it work long-distance for months, with lots of Snapchatting, FaceTiming, and professing their love for each other for the first time on the phone that summer. While Zach was slinging drinks in the 10,000 feet high mountains, Taylor got busy decorating her first solo apartment exactly how she wanted it- down to the last inch. The couple made cherished memories when Taylor and Rachel visited the restaurateurs out in Breck for a long weekend. But Zach was ready to return home to the moist Florida air (and the love of his life), and after 3 months of long distance, he moved in with Taylor straight from the airport. She kindly made room for Zach: 5 inches of closet space, but an entire bonus room for his computer. Taylor and Zach got through the bumps of learning to live with each other by blaming a lot on their imaginary third roommate, Phillip. It was he who would leave his dishes in the sink and clog the drain with his hair, not either of them. Zach proposed to Taylor on July 17th, 2025, under the creamsicle sunset by Proposal Rock on Neskowin Beach, Oregon. She, of course, said "Yes!", and they followed with some sandy acro-yoga and continued their vacation in a blissful bubble, where they still reside.
