We first met in elementary school, when Zach transferred to Paulding Elementary in the 3rd grade. Zach asked me to be his girlfriend in the 5th grade. We remained friends all throughout school and reunited again during our senior year of high school. During football season of senior year, Zach asked me to be his date to homecoming. We made it official on October 3rd, 2015, on the night of our senior homecoming dance, and the rest is history!

Zach proposed to me in front of the Cleveland Art Museum in University Circle. He had convinced me that we were going on a double date with my friends to the art museum. Zach got my friend in on the plan, and naturally, she played the part flawlessly and I was fully convinced we were just spending the afternoon with our friends. As we approached the museum, he parked the car and suggested we head in the opposite direction to go for a little walk around the pond instead. As we approached the pond in University Circle, he grabbed my hands and before I could process what was happening, he was down on one knee. Zach planned every detail, even carefully planning his best friend to hide with a camera to capture the proposal live. It was the most thoughtful, beautiful moment of my life! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
