We first met at City Hall Café & Pie Bar, where we both worked and quickly became friends. As time went on, the timing felt right, and we started spending more time together talking, laughing, and just enjoying each other’s company. One simple evening, sitting on the couch being our true selves, he asked me to be his girlfriend. On a trip to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains, that he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him.
