WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!

We had met 2 days prior to going on our first date through mutual friends. For our first date, we drove Wyatt’s 2008 Jeep Wrangler with the top off to Dairy Freeze in downtown Sumner to get milkshakes. After that, we went back to Wyatt’s house and watched the movie 42 together because sports is a common interest of ours. We finished off the night together with a bonfire in the backyard and the rest was history! :)

On the night of our engagement, we went to Bellevue Square to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, along with celebrating Wyatt starting his first week at the Lakewood Police Department. Little did I know, we would be celebrating a lot more than that. We started the night by shopping in the Bellevue Square Mall. We continued the night with dinner at John Howie Steak House, and shortly after we went to Snowflake Lane to end the night. After the parade had ended, Wyatt and I went into the streets to take in the view of all the pretty lights. While taking in the breathtaking views of lights with people soaking in all the holiday spirit, the next thing I knew he was on a knee and asking me to marry him. Behind him were our three closest friends taking pictures and videos to capture a moment that we will cherish forever. After the parade, we drove home to an amazing engagement party where we were surrounded by family and friends who congratulated us as we entered this new season of life together, and we couldn't have been more grateful. Looking back on that day, makes us just that much more excited to celebrate our lifelong love with all of you.
