Casey Jones Distillery
A top attraction in Hopkinsville. This distillery is pet and family friendly and full of rich history. Pioneered by the distillery’s namesake, Casey Jones who became legendary during the time of prohibition where he crafted hundreds in the area now known as The Land Between the Lakes. Tours and Tastings are offered and available for booking. This summer they are offered special 250th releases
Wings of Liberty Museum
This museum details the service and experience of Soldiers in the 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group and 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell. The multimedia exhibits and interactive displays cover World War II, Vietnam, Desert Storm, the Global War on Terrorism, and more. If you are interested in history or want to learn more about the units that Watson and Taylor were a part of during their time serving at Fort Campbell, this would be a great place to visit! Access does not require a military ID and is free for all Open from 10am to 2pm Tuesday through Saturday (Closed Sunday and Monday)
Land Between the Lakes
Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area offers 170,000-acres of outdoor activities and environmental learning between Barkley and Kentucky Lakes in western KY/TN. Enjoy hundreds of miles of bike, hike, horse, hunt, and off-highway vehicle trails. Campgrounds and picnic areas offer lake access to swim, boat, and bank fish. Get up close to owls, foxes, bobcats, and other rescued native wildlife at Woodlands Nature Station. Experience life on an 1850’s farm with period animals, crops, and hand-made tools at The Homeplace. Drive the 700 acre Elk & Bison Prairie to view native plants and wildlife. Daily shows at the Golden Pond Planetarium bring outer space to life in a 40-foot dome theater.
Harper House
This local independently owned restaurant with Chef inspired dishes, steaks and lively bar scene. They offer a family friendly dining room that accommodates large groups and also an intimate piano bar with live music on the weekends! The food, desserts and drinks are carefully curated with rotating seasonal dishes that are too delicious to miss out on. Open Wed-Thur 4:30-9pm and Fri-Sat 4pm to 9pm Fun fact: This steak house was the place Watson took Taylor on their first official date. It is also the place where Taylor's parents found out from a waiter that she had been on a date.
The Mailroom
The Mailroom is one of Clarksville's best restaurant bars located in a historic former United States Post Office and Federal Building, offering an ambiance that melds the past with the present, providing our guests with an unforgettable dining experience. After dining, you can walk around downtown Clarksville and see what else the quaint little town has to offer.
Old Glory Distillery
This small batch Tennessee bourbon distillery handcrafts whiskey, bourbon, vodka and moonshine to be served in all their signature drinks. They offer a delicious selection of food and have and large outdoor seating area complete with fire pits. Live music plays on Friday and Saturday nights. Pet and family friendly. Tours are available for booking 7 days a week.
