We met back in the sixth grade at Harnett Central Middle School. Tyson's mother was my teacher and every morning when I walked in the classroom and sat in my desk, there was Tyson at his mothers desk, typically eating Bojangles or a PopTart. He said from then on he knew that there was something special, however, it took him a year to get the nerve to ask me out. We made it through middle school, high school, and college together and here we are getting ready to start our forever.
On our family weekend getaway to the mountains we all decided to go skiing near the closest ski resort which was Appalachian Ski Resort. When we got there everyone wanted to go to the very top of the mountain to "take pictures." It was our turn to take a "picture" as everyone is standing around us (with my family back home on FaceTime) he grabbed me as I walked away and said "hold up" as he reached for the ring box in his pocket. At that moment I knew this was the day that I had been waiting for for almost 12 years. He got down on one knee and asked to spend forever with me and I immediately said yes!
