For guests wearing suits, we kindly ask that suits be classic black. You’re welcome to add personality with your tie/bow tie white or black are perfect. For our ladies, we invite you to wear black dresses. White, black, or metallic accessories such as shoes, purses, and jewelry are absolutely welcome if you want to add some color, but we ask that the dress itself remain black.
We hope you understand our decision to make our wedding child-free. If you have the option to leave your child with a trusted family member for the day, we appreciate it—but we completely understand if that isn’t possible. We would love for your little ones to join us for the rest of the wedding day following the ceremony. Please reach out to the bride or groom to let us know if you’re planning to bring your child, and don’t stress—there will be other children joining after the walk down the aisle as well.
Oh, we’re very glad you asked. We’re skipping most of the long, traditional wedding formalities and focusing on what really matters—having the best time possible with our favorite people. We’ll kick things off with a lively cocktail hour featuring LRC, lawn games, large food stations, and a full bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. A live violinist will be setting the vibe, playing modern music with a twist—think songs everyone knows and loves, just with a little extra flair. And yes, there will be a Highland cow handing out beer and water (we promise this is real). Bring at least $20 in singles if you want to play the games and try your luck at winning some cash. During the reception, expect nonstop fun with a DJ and dueling pianos—because one source of music simply isn’t enough. You’ll be able to request songs, sing along, and dance all night long. The bar will be fully open, the dance floor will be lit, and there will be plenty of opportunities to grab photos with the bride and groom (and basically anyone else). And just when you think the night couldn’t get better… we’ll wrap things up with a champagne toast to end the celebration with a bang.
Yes—absolutely. We’ll have a full open bar available throughout the entire reception, featuring beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. Whether you’re sipping something spirited, keeping it zero-proof, or pacing yourself for the dance floor, we’ve got you covered. Cheers to a great night! 🥂
Absolutely! Please let us know in the RSVP who you plan to bring and their relationship to you. If you don’t know many people and would like to bring a friend to feel more comfortable, we’re all for it! We just ask that your plus-one be ready to have fun and dance the night away (no stay in their seat all night plus ones, we will force them to have fun). Please also be sure to share the wedding website and dress code details with them so they’re fully in the know for the big day.
