The Shoreditch of Kent. Margate is a quintessential British seaside town with fish and chips and lots of arcade games. It also has a trendy side and is home to some of the best restaurants and bars outside of London. The beachside walk from Margate to Ramsgate is perfect on a warm sunny day.
Rye

Idyllic British village with one of the most photographed streets in the country (Mermaid street). Go for cobblestone streets, old pubs, and cute shops. Close to the beach and to some British wineries.
