We’re getting married!

We first met in our early childhood years where we both attended John Rogers Elementary! Several years would go by before crossing paths again in our 20’s, in true romantic fashion at the Social nightclub ;). Fast forward 10 years together, living together for 9 years, getting our furbaby Piper 7 years ago. We are beyond grateful for the life we’ve created together.

It was a typical Saturday morning, on our normal family outing with Piper to the trails at Golden Gardens. She loves it there because she can be wild & free! She runs through the trails but always checks in that we’re right behind her so it was no surprise when Steven and Piper went running down a side path. While struggling to get down the overgrown path, Piper comes running back to me with a huge clump of grass stuck in her harness. I figured that she went through the bushes, and called out to Steven. I caught up to them and go to grab it — and there was the ring hooked onto her harness! It was such a Steven thing to do but I was very surprised! He got down on one knee and the rest was a blur! Best day of my life… so far ;)
