SeaTac - Seattle Tacoma International Airport

We suggest flying into SEATAC if you are traveling by air. Please check ferry times to see if it is feasible to arrive that day and get to Vashon - you may need to stay in Seattle if arriving late in the day.

Book your own accomodations

Vashon does not have any large hotels so unfortunately we are unable to rent a block of rooms. We highly recommend booking an airbnb/VRBO near the venue (4025 SW Point Robinson Road). However anywhere on the island will also work well. You can also stay in West Seattle or near Point Defiance in Tacoma, however be aware that you will need to ensure you leave in time to catch the last ferry out for the evening. If you are staying off island, please see the information about the ferry schedules below.

Ferry Information

Vashon is only accessible via a ferry either from the Fauntleroy terminal (in West Seattle) or Point Defiance terminal (in Tacoma). The crossing takes ~20 minutes, but you should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your designated departure time. Expect the trip from Seattle to the venue to take a total of 1.5 hours, including Ferry wait and travel time. Getting around Vashon

We highly recommend renting a car for your stay as it will allow you more flexibility. Uber and Lyft are not available on the island. If you need to there is a shuttle service (linked below) as well as a taxi service available if you call ahead at (206) 434-1121
