He was a boy, she was a girl. Could I make it any more obvious? Stephanie transferred to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). The first night in her new campus apartment, her roommates invited some of their friends over one of whom was Taylor. They immediately clicked when they met that night after finding they both liked Gangnam Style and Diego Forlan. After several weeks of are they or aren’t they dating, there was no denying the chemistry between them, and they began *officially* dating. They shared their goals, dreams, and aspirations together throughout undergrad. Stephanie focused on getting into medical school and Taylor developed a passion for sports broadcasting. Little did they know, for the next 5 years, they would be supporting each other long distance through Taylor’s graduate school in Connecticut and Stephanie’s medical school program in North Carolina. They became no strangers to 6 hour drives, expensive weekend flights, but nothing could keep the happy couple apart. When the distance became tough, they always found ways to show their love through care packages, video chat, and movie nights.There was no location that Stephanie and Taylor’s love couldn’t reach. There were trips to Peru, Cancun, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas during their breaks from school they had to look forward to. They celebrated the 20th of every month as their anniversary to commemorate when they originally began dating. On December 20th 2019, Taylor took Stephanie back to the dorm where they first met, and asked for her hand in marriage. After being apart, Stephanie matched into her dream Anesthesiology program at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore meaning their long distance would finally be coming to an end. Taylor works in Reisterstown, Maryland and the happy couple are finally living together in Canton. Now they can’t wait for you help celebrate their love in front of a beautiful beach!
