FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding has a garden party dress code—think semi-formal with a light, airy, and outdoor-friendly vibe. Sundresses, midi dresses, jumpsuits, lightweight suits, and dressy separates are perfect. Florals, soft colors, and festive accessories are welcome!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are absolutely welcome to join the celebration. We’re so excited to share this special day with guests of all ages.

Question

When will RSVP be open?

Answer

We will be opening the RSVP link in our Zola account in 2026.

Question

What’s the best way to get to Victoria?

Answer

If you're flying, the closest airport is Victoria International Airport (YYJ). From there, it's about a 30-minute drive to Laurel Point Inn. For U.S. guests, another option is to fly into Seattle (SEA) or Vancouver (YVR) and take a ferry to Victoria. The Victoria Clipper (from Seattle) and BC Ferries (from Vancouver) are scenic and fun options!

Question

I am American, do I need a passport to travel to Canada?

Answer

Yes—U.S. guests will need a valid passport to enter Canada. Please double-check your expiration dates in advance!

Question

What will the weather in Victoria be like in June?

Answer

Victoria has a mild coastal climate, and June is typically pleasant and comfortable. Expect temperatures around 60–70°F (15–21°C) with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Rain is less common but still possible, so we suggest checking the forecast closer to the date and bringing a light layer or umbrella just in case!
