Some say everything happens for a reason, and for us, our story certainly proves it! It all began during our time working at Dutch Bros. One regular morning shift, something unexpected happened for Taylor. Sierra, being her bold self, loudly proclaimed that Taylor was "hot." Taylor, caught completely off guard, could only manage a surprised look before walking right out of the building without a word! A few weeks later, Taylor gathered the courage to ask Sierra out – "just as friends" – for a bite to eat and bowling. Lazy Dog at Riverpark was the chosen spot. What was meant to be a quick dinner before hitting the lanes turned into hours of non-stop conversation and laughter. We were so engrossed, we didn't even notice the restaurant had closed and we were the last ones there, chatting away while the staff cleaned up around us! This "first date" was a clear sign of the deep connection that would fuel our relationship. Fast forward a couple of months, and we were officially an item. We kept our budding romance "low key" for a bit since Sierra had just been promoted to shift lead at our stand. But when Taylor was promoted shortly after, we were finally able to share our news with everyone! Our bond grew even stronger through our shared love of travel and family time. From spontaneous trips to Huntington Beach and San Francisco to cruises in Mexico, baseball games, and concerts with each other's families, every adventure deepened our love. Taylor quickly became the unofficial "Uncle" and "Son-in-Law" to Sierra’s family, while Sierra, with her uncanny ability to know every song ever made, became the "Jukebox" and "Daughter-in-Law" to Taylor’s. Years flew by, and Taylor knew Sierra was his soulmate. On March 8, 2025, amidst the beautiful backdrop of Asilomar Beach in Monterey, California, Taylor proposed! This day marked a new chapter for us, and it also came with a funny story: Taylor, having tweaked his back getting into the car, had to brace himself on Sierra's shoulder just to get down on one knee! Our journey has been filled with fun, laughter, family, and true love. It's been untraditional, taken risks, and even overcome a few nerves and injuries, but it's always led us back to each other. Here's to forever!
