Taylor and Shaquan’s story started in 2011, when they were both in the 7th grade. Shaquan was the first boy to ask for Taylor’s phone number when he asked under one of her pictures on Instagram. For a couple of weeks, the two middle-schoolers who were crushing on each other texted one another, but never met in person before the texts fizzled out.

Fast forward to 10 years later in 2021, Shaquan found Taylor’s new Instagram account where he reached out to her again. At this point Shaquan and Taylor were young professionals in their early 20s. The couple finally met in-person in Nov. 2021, when they captured their deep friendship, an unbreakable bond, and began to fall in love. The two started dating, growing closer and closer, never having enough time with one another. They both knew they were each other’s answered prayers and that God had placed each other in their lives at the just the right time. Their relationship did not come without periods of refinement and growth, but their love never faded. Four years later, the couple chose forever when Shaquan popped the question. Taylor and Shaquan are so elated to tie the knot in their relationship with all their loved ones and to start their lives together as husband and wife.
