Answer

Yes, in lieu of gifts we have set up several cash funds to support our dream honeymoon. To view our registry, please see the "Registry" tab on our website.

Is it okay to bring cards to the reception?

Answer

Where is the reception being held?

Answer

Our reception will take place at The Coan Household in Everett, Washington. The address is as follows: 14633 58th Drive Southeast Everett, WA 98208

What time should we arrive to the reception?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 5:15 pm Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is limited parking available on 58th Drive. If you are unable to find a space to park on 58th Drive, you can also park on the streets nearby. If you or someone in your carpool has difficulty walking, please let us know ahead of time and we will make adjustments to accommodate a closer space for you to park. If you have to park far away and are unable to walk to the home for any reason, please contact Shannon and we will arrange someone to come shuttle you to the venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

For our reception, the dress code is "cocktail chic". Dresses, jumpsuits, or blouses with slack or nice jeans are acceptable for this event.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We are currently in the process of deciding on a caterer for the evening. We will update you as soon as we know more.

How do I share my dietary restrictions?

Answer

There should be a space to specify when you RSVP, either through our website or on our RSVP card, if you have any dietary restrictions. If you did not answer that when RSVPing or have had a change in your dietary restrictions, please contact Shannon.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for guests at the reception. If there is something specific you would like to enjoy, please bring it either for yourself or to share with others.

No, there is not a set schedule for the reception.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

There are a variety of spaces for guests to enjoy at our reception, including an outdoor dining table and covered lounge seating, as well as a living room, dining room, and den inside. There will be heaters and a fireplace outside for guests who choose to enjoy the evening out there.

No, there is not assigned seating at the reception.

Is it okay to take pictures during the reception?

Answer

Yes, it is completely fine if you take photos or videos during the reception.

Is there anything I should bring as a guest?

Answer

Please make sure to bring a coat or jacket, as well as shoes that you can wear in the rain. Seattle weather can be unpredictable and we will try and reach out if any inclement weather is expected, but it is best to be prepared for wet weather just in case.

What is the weather typically like?

Answer

Early October in Seattle marks a transition to cooler, wetter autumn weather, featuring mild days, chilly nights, and increasing chances of rain. Daily highs are usually in the low-to-mid 60s°F, dropping to the mid-40s°F at night. October is one of Seattle's wetter months, though showers are often light rather than heavy. To address this, please do not forget to bring a coat or jacket and shoes that will hold up in the rain.

What is the best airport to use?

Answer

Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is the largest airport in the area. For guests traveling via air, this is likely where you will fly in to. Alternatively, Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) is closer to our reception venue and is less busy than SEA.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Answer

Yes, we have put a collection of our favorite places to eat, drink, and visit in the greater Seattle area on the Things To Do tab of our website.

Will the cats be there?

Answer

Unfortunately, Charlie, Otis, and Mayci will not be attending this event; however, Lucy and Alani, the Coan's cats, will be there.
