FAQs

Question

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Unless Mother Nature decides to RSVP “no.” We’ll be outdoors for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then head under a beautiful tent for dinner and dancing. Ladies the ground’s grassy, so heels are a bold choice. (We support confidence, but also no broken ankles)

Question

Whats the weather like in September?

Answer

Usually sunny and around 70 degrees. In other words, “hot” if you’re from Alaska and “just right” if you’re from anywhere else.

Question

Wait, did I forget to pick dinner?

Answer

Nope! We spared you the “chicken, beef, or salmon” conundrum. Blooming Hill Farm is farm-to-table, and at this wedding we’re serving you family-style. Your only job is to say “yes” when it’s passed your way.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Do you think Scott Schier would have it any other way? The man built a spreadsheet to optimize drink ratios. Rest assured cocktails will be flowing, and Scott’s formulas guarantee no one goes thirsty. Consider yourselves in excellent hands.

Question

When do I RSVP?

Answer

You’ll RSVP once your formal invitation arrives in the mail. It’ll include all the details and a link to this very website. We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation RSVP (we love your kids, cousins, and that hinge date that went well … but our seating chart does not)

Question

Are there Ubers in the area?

Answer

Yes, but temper your expectations. Late night rides can be scarce, and wait times may test your patience. Check our Travel page for local taxi companies.

Question

Will there be shuttles back to the hotel after the reception?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will run back to the hotel once the reception ends. Feel free to Irish goodbye your way onto one, we are fully supportive. We’ll assume you left on a high note.

Question

Are there shuttles back to the hotel after the after party?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle that heads back to the hotel area at 1 am. If you would like to leave the After Party sooner - you can test your luck with an Uber or taxi but please keep in mind these services tend to slow down around midnight.
