Things to do & Where to eat
Beach!
Enjoy the beach on Hilton Head Island! If your accommodation isn't on or near the beach, Coligny Beach Park is a great public beach access spot (we suggest getting there early to avoid crowds). Click the "view" link below for more details on the area. There is free parking, outdoor showers, and public restrooms to use! Coligny also has tons of shops and restaurants right near the beach to enjoy.
Pickle Ball/Tennis
For pickle ball and tennis lovers - there are plenty of spots to play! Our favorite place is South Beach Racquet Club in Sea Pines. At this location, courts are around $40 an hour. There is also plenty of courts at Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center, and Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club depending on which is closer to where you're staying!
Golf
If you love golf, you'll feel right at home - there are plenty of stunning courses in the area for a pre wedding round! A few of our family favorites are Harbour Town Golf Links, Heron Point, and Atlantic Dunes.
Biking
If you’re staying for a few days, we highly recommend renting bikes. The beach is wide and flat, making it easy to ride along the shoreline, and you’ll find many people biking to local restaurants and shops. Pedals bike rental is in the heart of Hilton Head Island and very easy to get to. There are plenty other well rated bike rental companies in the area (to name a few: Hilton Head Bicycle Company, Hilton Head Outfitters, and Island Cruisers).
Old Town Bluffton
Old Town Bluffton offers a charming mix of shops, including art galleries, gift boutiques, and more. You’ll also find a wide variety of dining options, from casual cafés to fresh seafood and classic Southern cuisine.

Hinoki Japanese Restaurant (37 New Orleans Rd, Hilton Head SC) - great takeout! Truffles Cafe (71 Lighthouse Rd, Hilton Head SC) Nunzio Restaurant (18 New Orleans Rd. Hilton Head, SC) - great Italian Salty Dog Cafe (232 S Sea Pines Dr, Hilton Head SC) The Bank (59 Pope Ave Hilton Head Island, SC 29928) - sports bar Hudson's Seafood (1 Hudson Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926) - great dining spot on the water Bluffton: Farm Bluffton (1301 May River Rd, Bluffton SC) - best dinner spot. grab a reservation beforehand! Nectar Bluffton (207 Bluffton Rd Bluffton SC 29910) - great brunch or lunch spot with a huge patio and typically live music!
