U.S. citizens traveling to the United Kingdom will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) if they do not have a UK visa or legal residency in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. The ETA acts as a pre-clearance for travel. An Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) typically takes three working days to process, but in some cases can take up to two weeks. It costs £16, and is valid for two years. You do not need your travel details in order to apply. Please find a link to the ETA website on the Transportation page.
The welcome dinner on Friday is cocktail attire. The wedding on Saturday is formal -- for men, tuxedos are recommended and dark suits are welcome. Please be mindful of your footwear, as both evenings include significant time spent on grass.
If you are staying at Tylney Hall, transportation will be provided from your hotel to Heckfield Place for both events, as well as throughout the day on Saturday. Taxi companies are available should guests at either Heckfield Place or Tylney Hall wish to explore off property throughout the weekend - please find Taxi information on the Transportation page.
Based on interest, a shuttle will be available for those that do not wish to book private transport on Sunday, July 27 to take guests to Reading Station. More information on this will be communicated via email. Private transportation options can be found in the PDF linked on the transportation page.
Please come to Heckfield Place on Saturday during the day! We encourage everyone to roam the grounds for a country walk, grab a sandwich, stop by the Bothy spa, or enjoy other planned activities, to be announced in the coming months.
