As two 2020 college graduates, Sam and Taylor met in the spring of 2020 on Hinge, an online dating app. Their first date was bringing lunch to Burke Lake in Virginia, where they walked around the five-mile shoreline. Since then, Sam and Taylor knew they had something special and would eventually master spontaneous, outdoor dates - their favorite being eating, and ranking, every fast food burger restaurant in one sitting.

Taylor will be joining Sam in Pensacola, Florida as he continues flight school for the United States Marine Corps. Taylor will continue her virtual work as a federal government consultant based in the Washington D.C. area. They are excited to begin their next chapter together as husband and wife, along with their cat, Leonidas.
