Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony takes place outside on the greens and the reception will be inside.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 5:30 sharp. We would recommend getting there early to have time to park and get a seat.

How do I RSVP? When is the deadline?

Answer

ONLINE! Right on this website. Head to the RSVP tab. Deadline is: August 6th, 2025.

Am I allowed to take photos?

Answer

Short answer: NO!!! No photos allowed during the ceremony as we are paying a very talented photographer to do that. During the reception, take all the photos your heart desires. Please note: my maid of honor and photographer will stop my wedding during the ceremony if your phone is out. Don’t be that person :)

Are my children allowed to come?

Answer

No. This is a child free wedding with the exception of our niece and nephews. While we adore your children, we’ve opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for our special evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only if indicated when you RSVP.

Is there good parking?

Answer

Yes, drive around the building and parking will be in the back. Don’t stress, you will drive through a neighborhood before reaching the venue.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

There will be two shuttles going to the Hampton Inn. More information under “travel”.

Are there reserved hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes, the Hampton Inn Ann Arbor-South hotel has a block of rooms under The Bennett Wedding. More information under “travel”.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No, we want you to dress comfortable. We will all be dressed our best and encourage you to do the same.

Can I mail you a gift or card instead?

Answer

Of course! This is not necessary but we greatly appreciate it. We recently moved, our address is: 836 Western Ave. Monroe, MI 48161.
