It all started at UConn, graduation in sight for Taylor and Rachel. Both eager to do well in their last year of school, they agree to study for an engineering exam together with a mutual friend. The group got together each week to complete practice questions, although the study group didn’t last long, as it became a hang out session for Taylor and Rachel. At one study session, Rachel discovered that both herself and Taylor had plans to go to UConn bars that night. Once Rachel arrived, she decided to slide into Taylor’s Instagram DMs to see if he ended up going out (she didn’t have his number…yet). Taylor’s heart raced as he opened the message, eager to see what Rachel had to say. Minutes later, Rachel appeared at Taylor’s side at Huskies Bar, and grabbed his hand to lead him through the crowd of people to rock the dance floor. Taylor and Rachel instantly clicked and continued chatting for hours about anything and everything. They exchanged numbers, and those study sessions became countless nights at the library doing homework, walking each other to every class, lots of dates…basically becoming inseperable. Fast forward a few years to find they are lucky enough to work at the same company, with the occasional “hi” in the hallways (guess the study dates paid off!). Their shared interests and goals continue to bring them closer, whether it be supporting each other in running marathons, traveling across Europe together, adopting a cat (shout out Oliver!), and ultimately led to them getting engaged! They have grown a life together throughout the years and Taylor and Rachel are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you!
