Taylor and Preston were set-up by a friend back in October of 2022. Taylor, still in nursing school at the time, was five minutes late for their first date. Preston had, of course, arrived to the Henry James bar fifteen minutes early and picked out the ideal table. They chatted over drinks and played a few rounds of darts together. Preston immediately noted Taylor's social adeptness and joyful energy. Taylor enjoyed Preston's inquisitive nature and competitive spirit. The very next day, Preston called Taylor to invite her to go on a second date with him... that same evening. She said yes, and they have been going on dates ever since. From their first date, Preston knew that Taylor had a passion for travel. Over the course of their relationship, they have gone on many trips together, and this past July they went on the trip of a lifetime. Toward the end of May 2025, after starting a new job, Preston mentioned that his office shut down over the 4th of July holiday. He proposed they take a spontaneous trip together. Taylor was hesitant to commit to anything other than the annual lake trip with her best friends, but when Preston mentioned Europe, she couldn't say no. Little did she know, Preston had been planning this all along. He knew Taylor would never say no to a spontaneous Europe trip. So, after a bit of travel chaos, Taylor and Preston spent a week in London and Amsterdam at the beginning of July 2025. On the final evening of the trip, July 4th, 2025, Preston asked Taylor to spend the rest of her life with him. SHE SAID YES! & now, here we are.
