Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00, so please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand to ensure everyone is seated before starting.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle running from the Fairfield and Hampton in Alexandria to the wedding. It will also bring guests back to the hotels after the wedding. The shuttle will be picking up guests from hotels beginning at 3:30 and 4:15 (there will be signs in the lobby when you check in!). The return shuttle will be departing from Crooked Willow at 10:00, 11:00, and 11:45pm.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all your kids, we kindly ask that if they are not addressed on your invitation, they do not attend the wedding. Thank you for understanding!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoor, while cocktail hour and the reception will be indoor.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting a “dressy casual” dress code for the evening (dresses for the ladies and dress shirts for the guys). Keep in mind that the ceremony will be in a grassy area. Also, please note that the bridesmaids will be wearing sage green.

Is there specific parking information?

Answer

There will be a gravel parking lot at the front of the venue. If you plan to take the shuttle to a hotel and leave your car at the venue the night of the wedding, it will need to be picked up by 10am the next morning.
