Taylor and Peyton met in the Fall of 2013 when they were both incoming freshmen at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Their first memory of each other was on a very hot move in day, august 28. As luck would have it, they were both all the way up on the top floor, or the penthouse as some liked to call it. As next door neighbors their paths were bound to cross early on. But thanks to Peyton’s dad suggesting he “take a break from moving and go meet some people” they met right away. Hot and sweaty, they introduced themselves. That night, Peyton's friend scribbled Peyton’s phone number on a little whiteboard Taylor had hung on the door that morning. It was the beginning of something special. Taylor and Peyton were inseparable friends the first few months of college, tailgating badger football games with the Williams family, meeting new friends, and even driving out to a concert at the Rave in Milwaukee. When it was time to go home for the summer, both were very sad to go their separate ways. Peyton, being the gentleman he is, surprised her a couple of weeks later by driving 5 hours to attend her brother’s high school graduation party! Throughout the next few years their relationship would grow stronger. While summers were mostly spent apart in Minnesota and Wisconsin they looked forward to always coming back together in the fall. After graduation, Taylor and Peyton both moved to Minnesota. Not long after they found themselves moving in together and adopting their “sweet boy” named Maximus. In December 2020, on a cold snowy afternoon walk, Peyton got down on one knee and proposed. Taylor, with all of her heart, said yes. To no surprise- Peyton had gathered friends and family that day to celebrate. Their journey now continues with expressing their love for each other through marriage. They are grateful for everyone who has been a part of their story and look forward to celebrating on October 1st. Love, Abby
