Pensacola airport

The closest airport is Pensacola Florida. It is about 45 minutes away from Gulf Shores. We recommend that you rent a car if you want to be able to explore the area or sign up ahead for a shuttle ( Coastal Express Shuttle). There is some Uber availability.

Hotel

The Lodge at Gulf State Park.

The rooms at the Lodge are limited and blocked for 3 nights. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If you choose to stay there and need shorter or longer accommodations you will need to call Hilton Central Reservations at 800-618-4350 and mention the room block code 92U. If booking online through the link, be sure to check the box “ show accessible room” box. The hotel is very full and some rooms in our block may have an extra bunk or be a handicap accessible room. There are also many condos in the area for those that prefer to have a kitchen and share the space with friends or family. Several guests are staying at the Oasis condo in Orange beach.
