Things To Do

Saugatuck holds a deeply special place in our hearts. It’s where Paul proposed and remains our go-to lakeside escape on a day off. With so much to offer, it’s been a challenge to pick our favorites. Whether you’re sipping on a cocktail, relaxing on the beach, browsing the boutiques along Butler Street, or indulging in the flavors of Michigan’s “fruit belt” at a local winery, there is truly something for everyone. We are so excited to share our love of Saugatuck with you ❤

Mount Baldhead Park

Mount Baldhead Park Trail, Saugatuck, MI 49453

1 mile loop trail used for hiking, walking, and trail running. There are steps that bring you to the summit with a view of Saugatuck and Douglas and Lake Michigan. Not for the faint of heart. Would not say this is a must see, but if you’re looking for a last minute butt lift or toning of the legs, this climb is for you. Pro tip: ride across the Kalamazoo River on a hand-pulled chain ferry, then climb 302 steps to Mount Baldhead, and descend onto the grassy coastal sands!

For all the days along the way
