What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4 pm. You can arrive earlier and enjoy the venue's multiple gardens, restaurants, and bars if you wish!

What should I wear?

Answer

Think breezy, elegant, linen and flowy fabrics, kind of vintage and romantic without being too stuffy. A sundress would be more appropriate than a ball gown. Ultimately, wear what is comfortable for you. The weather may be anywhere between 60-90 F, so keep that in mind. It may be a good idea to bring an umbrella!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Grand Lodge has a mixture of traditional and European-style accommodations. The property is historic and therefore quirky. Space is limited but there are many other options close by (see "Travel" tab). Portland is also a short 30-minute drive from the venue, so you may also choose to stay in the city if you prefer!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, but we encourage you to carpool and arrive early as there may be other events occurring at the property.

Accessibility?

There are two flights of stairs (one to get into the building and one to the second floor). Unfortunately, there are no wheelchair ramps. Reach out if you may need any assistance and we will do our best to accommodate you--we want everyone to be as comfy as possible!
