Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!! We respectfully ask you to please leave the kiddos at home this time. You will only be able to RSVP for the people listed on the invitation.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not transportation and from the hotels, but the lodging options are 1.5 miles away, so we recommend taking a Lyft or Uber. Wahoo! Grill will have complimentary valet parking as an option if you do decide to drive.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, you will only be able to RSVP for the people included on the invitation. Please do not bring a date if they are not invited.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We plan on spending the day at Halfway Crooks brewery on Sunday. We will be there around noon. Everyone is welcome, including kiddos. Please considering coming to keep the party going :)

Do you require Covid vaccination or proof of a negative Covid test prior to the reception?

Answer

We are not requiring vaccinations although they are STRONGLY encouraged to help keep those that are immunocompromised and vaccinated safe. We are not requiring a negative Covid test, but please stay home and get tested if you have had recent exposure or don’t feel well. It is important to note that the couple will have a Covid test prior to the reception due to their recent travels. We appreciate any and all efforts taken to help keep one another safe at the reception.

Are there any Covid protocols and procedures in place at the venue?

Answer

Wahoo! grill is following the CDC and City of Decatur’s recommendation regarding Covid-19. All Wahoo! staff will be wearing masks and gloves. The venue is mostly outside, including the dancing area, which means it is well ventilated. There will be hand sanitizer and masks available. We want you to be comfortable, so social distancing and wearing a mask is always acceptable.
