Q + A

The Wedding Website of Taylor McDermott and Norman Moreno
What to Know Before the Big Day A little guidance to make things easy, fun, and stress-free!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. For men, this means a suit and tie (no tuxedo needed). For women, cocktail dresses, tea-length dresses, gowns, or dressy separates is perfect. Dress to impress and get ready to enjoy a night of celebration and dancing!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Check back here later for more details as we get closer to the big day!

Question

Can I bring a date/guest/kids?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm sharp. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Downtown Franklin offers plenty of free parking! There’s a parking garage conveniently located right across the street from the ceremony, and if the weather is nice, it’s a lovely (and short!) walk to the reception venue — enjoy the charm of historic Franklin along the way. If you’d prefer to drive, the reception venue has a small lot just down the street, along with free commercial parking available along the surrounding roads. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted at the venue or anywhere in downtown Franklin, so if you’re planning to enjoy a few drinks with us, be sure to plan a safe way home in advance.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for the sacred setting and the significance of the ceremony, we kindly ask that all guests refrain from taking photos during the service. As it will be held in a Catholic church, we ask that the space be honored with the same reverence as a regular Mass. Please silence your phones and be fully present with us in the moment — our photographers will be there to capture everything beautifully.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Heck yes — we wouldn’t have it any other way! We hope you’ll enjoy a drink (or two) and celebrate with us all night long. That said, please drink responsibly — we want everyone to have an amazing time and make it safely home with memories to match!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors in the church. The reception will be held outdoors under a covered pavilion, with a few tables placed in the open-air garden area nearby. Should the weather take a turn, don’t worry — we have a rain plan in place to keep everyone dry and comfortable. Either way, come ready to celebrate under the twinkle lights and stars!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When you RSVP on the website, there will be a spot to put any dietary restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate any food allergies and preferences!
