Taking it back to our Sophomore year of high school, we were just friends. Skipping to the beginning of our Junior year, you could say we were a little more than friends. Finally, in December of 2017, he asked me to be his girlfriend at Shady Brook Farms after the holiday light show. We became not only boyfriend and girlfriend, but best friends. Our long, hard journey after doing 4 years of long-distance and a pandemic has led us to who we are today.
