FAQs

Question

This does not sound like a traditional wedding, what can we expect?

Answer

You got us there... We will be married in a private ceremony in the mountains! This party will serve as our reception. With that being said, you can expect all the fun-tivities you get at any wedding reception... Dinner, toasts, first dance, and cake, with some yard games & u-pick berries!

Question

Do I need to bring anything?

Answer

Potluck + BYOB Ya'll know how much our garden produces, so plan for all the garden fresh sides & snacks... then there's the hamburgers and hot dogs. We will be providing most of the mains. You're welcome to bring a dish to share as well, whether that's a salad, snack, or late night sweet. We will be providing wine, beer and non-alcoholic options, as well as a couple signature cocktails. Because this is our home, feel free to bring anything your liver desires!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We are taking a more lackadaisical approach to this timeline, so arriving later in the evening is totally fine! This is not a formal dinner, but plan for apps between 3:00-5:00 & grilled items to be served at 5:00. There will be some toasts, cake cutting, and first dance. We can upload a more defined timeline as we approach the date. Quiet hour is at 10:00PM, 9:00PM will be music cut off, to respect our neighbors :)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage you to get dolled up - we definitely will be! We just ask that you do not wear white... ;) Sundresses; Dressy jumpsuits; Floral Prints; Slacks or Shorts ... Do keep in mind this is an outdoor event in the middle of July and in our backyard... We do not recommend heels, nor full suits. We highly encourage sandals and big hats!

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

We are asking that you do not bring a "plus-one". Since we want to keep our reception as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest loved ones.

Question

Can our little ones attend?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see the littles and spend time with them!

Question

May I bring my dog?

Answer

As much as we love your four legged friends, we ask you do not bring the dogs. This allows our boys, Howl and Billy, to hang-out during the party.

Question

Parking situation?

Answer

Plenty of Street parking throughout the neighborhood, as well as the school behind us. We just ask that you respect our neighbors when parking in front of their homes.
