Hi family! We hope you are all very excited to share this amazing journey with us! We also hope you enjoy reading our story! Our journey began in 2022 — Both of us were on our own personal journeys, simply navigating through our own struggles and lives. Lots of highs & unfortunately a lot of lows. We started off building a very genuine & real friendship that we both needed. A true safe space just be ourselves. During that season of our lives, there were a lot moments we used to opened up to each other. We discussed our love for Jesus, our dreams, goals, & even the hard things we dealt. Like any normal friendship, we did have a few pockets of turbulence here & there, but we always made it a point to never lose contact or stop being there for each other. Our intentionality was always there & that is what brought us closer together. We knew something was very different & special about each other, & that’s when we made the decision to finally drown out all of the unnecessary noise, & get to know each other on an even deeper and of course, romantic level; not yet knowing how much everything was going about to change. Late night calls on FaceTime where we would talk for hours on end, turned into deep conversations that turned into an even deeper connection. Even before we met in person, we KNEW there was something real & special between us something that felt more than a mere coincidence. That then lead to the most important moment that changed everything for us; we FINALLY met for the very first time, in person, in the beautiful Cayman Islands. We were extremely nervous, of course, you know, the kind of nervous that only comes when you know something big is happening. THIS WAS IT. Our stomachs sank from takeoff to touchdown. However, when we saw each other, everything stopped. When locked eyes for the first time, we knew we right where we were supposed to be. TOGETHER. No doubts. No second guessing. From then on, our story had just begun. We shared so many stomach hurting laughs, learned so much more from & about each other, supported one another, shared an incredible love for Jamaican patties and stingrays, & built an even stronger bond & relationship centered in Christ, rooted in faith, trust, amazing joy, comfort & love. Every step & every moment since then, has led us to where we are now…Stronger, closer, & even more in love. To this day, we have always said that our relationship has been truly God, because it is…we are most definitely living in our "But God" season. He’s so incredibly faithful & He has been our constant in every aspect of our relationship. We have never left God out of anything. He has made all of this possible for both of us. We never went to bed w/o praying with or for each other & our relationship, our future & our friends & family. He has & will always be the common denominator of what is keeping us. That is what makes this relationship so different for us both. He is constantly making us stronger & better together every single day. We pray that as we continue our journey together, everything will be centered in HIS love, grace & faithfulness for years & years to come. ; Nicholos then dropped to one knee & asked the question that would, once again, change our lives forever. He asked to spend forever together! Without hesitation, a heart full of love & eyes blurry from happy tears, Taylor said yes! We could do nothing but give God glory & THANK JESUS! 🎉🎊🤍 It was a moment that solidified our journey & it was so heartfelt, honest, & unforgettable! We promised each other from that day moving forward, that we will always & forever love & cherish each other. We cannot wait to share this beautiful milestone in our lives together with our closest friends and family!
