In late May, the average temperature in Charleston, South Carolina typically ranges from a high of around 84°F to a low of about 63°F. May is considered an ideal time to visit Charleston because the weather is warm but not yet humid and hot. It's also the driest month of spring, with clear skies and lots of sunshine!

What is Garden Party Formal?
Answer
Garden Party Formal attire is whimsical, dressy, and designed to be worn outdoors. It is similar to traditional formal attire, but with breezy silhouettes, pastel colors and fun florals. For the ladies, a printed floral or colored midi/maxi dress is perfect! Please keep in mind, we are hoping the ceremony will be held on the lawn. For the fellas, a non black suit would be a great option! If you’re feeling fancy, feel free to incorporate a patterned tie or pocket square, though ties are optional. Think cheerful when it comes to color, and don't be afraid to incorporate!

Will there be parking?
Answer
The venue will be blocking off an area of the parking lot for anyone that would like to drive. Otherwise, Uber/Lyft are available in the area.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration! Due to space restrictions, open beverage options and proximity to water, we hope this will create a relaxed atmosphere for all.

What type of food will be served?
Answer
We will be serving BBQ for dinner. When submitting your RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate. Feel free to reach out with specific questions.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home address or make a donation through our Zola wedding fund. A wedding card box will also be available at our reception!
