Things To Do

If you have the time to make the trek out west we'd love to help you explore and enjoy the Bay Area! Below are a few of our favorite things to do, but feel free to do your own research and check out the Infatuation for more restaurant recommendations. Text us with any questions! As Mark Twain famously said, "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." San Francisco is known for its cool, foggy summers, which can be a stark contrast to the warmer weather experienced in other parts of California. Please plan accordingly and pack for both hot and chilly climates!

We also have the muni (above-ground subway) and bus system throughout the city. If you’re feeling adventurous, try out self-driving cars and call a Waymo! Bike through Golden Gate Park all the way to Ocean Beach Walk around Land's End and pop over to Baker Beach Explore the Ferry Building's shops and restaurants Take a trolly ride on one of SF’s historic streetcars Stroll through the Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina Go thrift shopping on Haight Street Get burritos in the mission and eat in Dolores park Burritos: El Farolito, La Taqueria, Buen Sabor Breakfast/Lunch: Tartine, Jane, Blue Barn, Souvla Casual Dinner: Bar Jabroni, Sasa Sushi, Lolo, Burma Superstar, Nopalito, Dancing Yak Fancy Dinner: State Bird Provisons, NoPa, Liho Liho Yacht Club, Rich Table, Nari, Flour & Water, Itria, Zuni Cafe, Good Good Culture Club

Rent a car and head north to explore Sonoma and Napa counties! Sonoma and Healdsburg are the closest with the least amount of tourists, while Napa is a bit farther and likely busier at this time of year. Sonoma Wineries: Abbott's Passage, Repris, Hamel, Gundlach Bundschu, Imagery, Couchon Tasting Room, Gloria Ferrer (sparkling) Healdsburg Wineries: Bella, Robert Young, Reeve, Lambert Bridge, Silver Oak, MacRostie, Flowers, Medlock Napa Wineries: Ashes & Diamonds, Palmaz, Odette, B Cellars Nat's favorite restaurant: Bistro Jeanty in Yountville

Marin

Rent a car and head north to explore the beautiful Northern California coast! Rent bikes and bike across the Golden Gate Bridge and get lunch in Sausalito - pro tip, take the ferry home Hike Mount Tamalpais (or "Mt. Tam", as the locals say) - text us for trail recommendations Explore Muir Woods or Muir National Monument to stare up at some BIG redwoods! Get fish tacos at Hook Fish, or the fried fish burrito if you're really hungry (off-menu item) Drive the Pacific Coast Highway down to Stinson Beach or Bolinas Explore Point Reyes seashore and eat fresh Pacific oysters at Hog Island or Tony's Seafood
