YES, RSVPs are REQUIRED for dinner & the following reception. The last day to RSVP is January 4th, 2025. You can RSVP online on our wedding website using the RSVP tab. To RSVP type in the first person listed on your invitation as it is written. Check yes or no for the number of spots listed under your name. You can only RSVP for the number of spots we have provided you, do not bring any extra guests. We wish we could have invited more friends and family, but please know, if you are included, you mean something special to us.
Google Maps and Apple Maps have differing answers to this question. Type in 32629 FM 2893 and whichever city pops up on your GPS that's the one. Just make sure you do not put any FM road other than FM 2893 and they will both take you to the same place.
Yes, children are welcome. If we have included your kids on your RSVP count, they are more than welcome to attend! We just ask that you respect the ceremony and other traditions, such as the first dance, and keep your children by your side during those times.
Our wedding ceremony will be indoors at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Our photos, dinner, and reception will be outdoors. It is winter so it may be chilly, but it is also South Texas, so it could be warmer than you think, and then suddenly be freezing. I recommend layers.
The dress code/style for our wedding is Western Chic. Think bold patterns, lace, and earthy jewel tones. Women can wear flowy dresses, solid satin or velvet, and rompers. Jeans for men are allowed, but more formal button-ups and a jacket please. If you have a cowboy hat or a pair of boots, we encourage you to wear them, especially for the reception.
Our wedding is jewel toned. Emerald, Magenta, Violet, Wine, Burgundy, and Blush are the theme colors we are using. You do not have to stick to these colors, but if you want to match you can. It also goes without saying, DO NOT wear white or off-white for respect of the bride. Wear it at your own risk.
We please ask that you do not take pictures or videos at our ceremony. We will have a photographer there and we would like pictures of everyone enjoying the ceremony instead of pictures of everyone taking pictures of the ceremony. Pictures can be taken at the reception, however we ask that you keep them minimal for the same reason as the ceremony.
We have decided that we want to spend our time dancing and enjoying our wedding reception. For that reason, we have scheduled a time slot from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm for everyone to come and have their photos taken with us before dinner. We do not mind if you snap a selfie or take a video with us during the reception, but please refrain from stopping us to take posed pictures during that time.
