Question

Why Miami?

Answer

We knew from the start we wanted to shake things up and do something a little different. While a small, intimate island ceremony was tempting, we just couldn’t bring ourselves to cut our guest list short. We understand that traveling down the coast for a wedding isn’t always ideal, but this felt like the perfect compromise. We fell in love with Miami’s vibrant energy, beautiful beaches, and unforgettable vibe—and we hope you will too! We know asking you to meet us here is a big ask, but we hope the early notice gives you plenty of time to plan ahead. We can’t wait to celebrate together in this special place.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Since this is a destination celebration, we’d be so grateful for your RSVP by August 1 (Bride Taylor's Birthday - the best gift she could receive is an "Accepts". This helps us plan all the details and make sure your experience is smooth and unforgettable!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request black-tie optional/formal attire for our celebration. This means you’re welcome to go all out with a tuxedo or formal gown, but a dark suit and tie or a cocktail-length dress is perfectly appropriate too. We’re aiming for an elevated and elegant vibe—think classic, polished, and celebratory. We do ask that guests avoid casual clothing like jeans, cargo shorts, and sneakers. And (not that it needs to be said)... white is reserved for the bride. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are welcome to begin arriving at 5:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Please plan to arrive on time—the gates will close at the start of the ceremony, and unfortunately, late arrivals will not be permitted entry until cocktail hour begins. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We know that planning a trip to Miami is no small feat—so please don’t stress about finding childcare. While the choice is completely up to you, children are more than welcome to join in the celebration!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We want all of our guests to feel comfortable and celebrated, so we’re doing our best to ensure that everyone is permitted a plus-one. If your envelope is addressed to you and a guest, you’re all set to bring someone along! If your invitation is addressed to a family name, we kindly ask that you reach out to the brides before bringing an additional guest—just to make sure we’re all on the same page and our chefs have an accurate head count. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available on-site, and parking attendants will be there to guide you upon arrival.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are currently working on securing shuttle transportation from the hotel to the venue for your convenience. As soon as the details are finalized, we’ll update this page with all the information you’ll need—stay tuned!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Miami in late October usually offers warm, pleasant weather around 5:30 PM, with temperatures typically ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s°F. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside and the reception occurs indoors with air conditioning if the Miami heat tries to crash the party—so you can keep cool while cutting loose on the dance floor!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We fell in love with the scenery and all that our venue had to offer. While we want you to capture its beauty and the fun memories yet to be made, we respectfully ask for an unplugged ceremony. Our ceremony will be unplugged, meaning we kindly ask guests to put away phones, cameras, and other devices. We want everyone to be fully present and to ensure our professional photographer can capture the moments without distraction. We’ve hired an amazing photographer who will beautifully document the day — so please leave the photo-taking to the pro and avoid blocking any important shots during the ceremony portion of our event. Thank you for helping us make this moment truly special!

Question

Is it an Open Bar?

Answer

The Moment You’ve All Been Waiting For — The Bar is OPEN! Drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! We do kindly ask that you bring some cash to tip the bartenders who’ll be working hard to keep the good times (and drinks) flowing all night long.

Question

Answer

Dinner for the evening is your choice of Grilled Mastery Chicken Teriyaki with Sesame Seeds or Mustard Dijon-Glazed Pork Perfection
