We both attended the accelerated nursing program at the University of New England in Portland, Maine. One night, one of our friends had a dinner get together and Mike and I had spent the majority of this party splitting a bottle of pinot grigio. He then messaged me later asking to take me on a date to Bruno's Restaurant, I excitedly accepted. We continued to date through nursing school and the rest is history =).

Mike proposed outside at the Adair Restaurant in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. He had taped the ring box to the inside of his leg so I wouldn't notice. Mike had told the waitress a couple weeks in advance, so she had her phone ready for photos and had glasses of champagne ready.
