When is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are May 1st, 2026 at Brooklyn Arts Center in the Historic District of Wilmington, North Carolina. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 pm. Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes before it begins.

Is there a pre-wedding event?

Answer

Yes, we’re are having a welcome gathering on the evening of Thursday, April 30 to kick of the weekend. Details are on the 'Itinerary' page.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll use this evening to relax and dance the night away!

What's the dress code?

Answer

The WEDDING is Black-Tie Optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or dark-colored suit and tie. For women, floor-length evening gowns, long formal dresses, dressy jumpsuits and pantsuits are appropriate. The WELCOME NIGHT is Dressy. We suggest that you wear attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit, blazer, or dress shirt (no tie) for men.

Historically the weather is pleasantly warm in early May (Average high 80° F).

Will there be venue parking?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to drive to the venue; there is a large parking lot on Campbell St. between 5th and 6th St.
