Our story begins with music — quite literally. Taylor and Max met as members of the Ohio State University Marching Band. Taylor had joined the organization in 2017, Max a year later, but the two didn't start talking to each other until late 2019. However fate had already started tuning their harmony, especially since Taylor had actually met his dad first, two years before their paths had even crossed. She remembers telling her close friends at the beginning of her second season that the percussion director's son was "pretty cute," but had left it at that. Their very first date took place with a late-night bite at Cottage Inn after a band party and made it official in February of 2020, just weeks before the world changed. As the pandemic brought so much to a halt, it gave them the unexpected gift of time together, and it quickly became clear: this was it. They were each other's person. Four incredible years later, Max got down on one knee in beautiful Hawaii surrounded by family, and Taylor said yes! They could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of their life together to begin and are so excited to celebrate their true love. From the marching fields to the islands of paradise, and now to the altar, they are very excited to continue writing their story surrounded by all the people who mean the most to them.
