There are a lot of places that rent motor boats and/or jet in the area. Many also rent kayaks if you want a quieter lake experience.

There is a train ride that goes from Hawley, down along the Lackawaxen River to the Delaware River, early Saturday afternoon. The train station is in downtown Hawley – it is the Stourbridge Line
