While a larger celebration would have been meaningful, we chose to elope so we could center love, safety, and joy on our wedding day and begin our marriage grounded in those values.
Not entirely. Like many couples, we imagined different possibilities. Ultimately, we made the choice that felt happiest and healthiest for us at this moment in our lives.
Our day was intentionally small and intimate. It was just us (and a couple chosen supports), allowing us to be fully present with one another.
